We have managed to completely get rid of the bottle, and it has made life so much easier! Eli transitioned pretty easy, and the ladies at daycare were a huge help in the process.
School is going ok ... one of my classes ends this week, so I'll go down to a single class until the summer session starts. This is fantastic news - as I definitely bit off a little more than I can chew. I'm going to make sure to drop a couple of my extra-curricular activities before I attempt to do classes and a full-time job again.
Here are a few pictures from the past week or so ...
We are trying a lot of new recipes and foods ... he is getting less and less picky - and even learning to use a spoon. He did get one or two bites in his mouth ...
This was tuna-noodle casserole night. He took one bite, and then dumped the rest on his head. Apparently it wasn't his favorite ...
Roscoe learned very quickly that camping out under the highchair is a fantastic idea. There is no need for a mop and broom with him and Lola around ...
We bought this box to store some of Eli's toys in the living room. One of the first things he does when he gets home from daycare is dump all of the toys out (and not play with them, of course) and then sit inside the basket and watch 'Yo Gabba Gabba' ... or the Disney movie 'Bolt' - which he is mildly obsessed with.
This cracks me up. He has learned to climb onto the couch using this method, so he thinks it will work for everything else he is trying to climb into or on top of ...
Hilarious hat that my sister-in-law sent ... it's the only one that still fits at this point, and I refuse to buy anymore because Spring has to be right around the corner!!
