Our last German Christmas!

The days are flying by here ... we have about one month left, and we're slowing starting to get things accomplished and organized. Vic goes on Monday to book our flights, and schedule the movers. I wanted to get our household goods shipped out in the beginning of November, but sadly that didn't happen. We'll probably be without our stuff in Orlando until mid-March. We do get one small shipment of things that will go by plane, so we should have our clothes and some kitchen stuff within a few weeks of getting back.

Elliott is really excited about moving - we keep telling him that he will get to swim a lot, and he is loving that idea.

In typical boy fashion - he is covered with bruises at the moment, and this one is my favorite ... right in the middle of his forehead. It has since turned a nice shade of purple and yellow. He took a flying leap off the couch ... face first.

Our house is a little sad without our Christmas decorations out. I did let E make his traditional gingerbread house ... and it was a mess - just like last year!! He piped half the bag of icing into his mouth and ate most of the candies that were supposed to go on the house. But he had fun!

We also doing the advent calendar - which he loves!!!

We also ventured out the th opening weekend of a nearby Christmas Market at Schloss Guteneck. It is set in castle gardens, and was really beautiful.

Checking out the goats ...

Walking along the castle wall ...

Glass blower ... the market was medieval themed, so there was a lot of neat booths.

As neat as the market was ... it was freezing! We only made it about an hour before we retreated to the car, and spent the rest of the night in bed watching movies. We are definitely ready for the Florida weather!!!

We will keep everyone updated on when we'll be flying into Orlando!! We are in the application process for a house we really like, so keep your fingers crossed it all goes well!!
